Finding someone who understands curly hair matters, especially if a previous cut left you with a shape you didn’t like or less length than you wanted. The consultation gives you time to explain what has worked, what hasn’t and what you would like to change.
Your haircut takes your natural texture and usual styling routine into account. Hair is cut dry so its shape and length can be seen as the cut develops.
If styling has been frustrating, the first visit also includes help with products and how to use them. Instruction runs through the appointment, with time for questions as your hair is washed, styled and cut.

Waves, loose curls and tighter curls
You don’t need tight curls to book a curly appointment. Services are available for women and men with waves, loose curls and corkscrew curls. The client photos show examples of the work and can help you describe a shape you like.
