A change can mean taking the sides shorter, leaving more length on top or styling the same cut differently. The conversation should include how you want it to look for work and how much time you want to spend getting it ready.
From a familiar cut to a different shape
A fade, flat top, high-and-tight cut or pompadour can be a useful reference when describing a style. Your hair’s texture, the length available and the shape you want help guide the choice.
Bring a photo if it helps, preferably showing hair with a similar texture to yours. You can also describe a part of your current cut that you would like to change.
Women’s haircuts and finishing
A women’s haircut includes cleansing, conditioning and a blow style, with tonging or flat ironing. Whether you want to keep your length, change the shape or refresh an existing cut, the consultation starts with how you like to wear your hair.
Allow about an hour for a cut and finish. Shampoo and blow-dry appointments are also available separately.

Styling help you can use between haircuts
Sometimes a small change in how you comb your hair or apply a product gives a familiar cut a different finish. Bring questions about the products you use and anything you find awkward to style.
The appointment includes a blow-dry, with an opportunity to discuss the finish you prefer. If you usually let your hair dry naturally or keep styling to a minimum, say so when talking through the cut.
