I still take classes
I started cutting hair in 1986. Hair keeps changing, and forty years in is a bad time to stop learning, so I still train: cutting, color, the science and the chemistry of hair.
He is constantly going to seminars to keep up on the latest styles, the science of hair, the chemistry and the newest products.

The method came from training
I trained in the DevaCurl method at Devachan Salon in New York, and I keep training in it. Cutting curly hair dry, one curl at a time, is a taught discipline with a history, and it is the reason the curly page reads the way it does.
The products
The products I stock come out of the same training. When I bring a line in, it is because I learned it.
